War cemetery No. 202 was created based on the former garrison cemetery of the Austro-Hungarian army. It was built on a plan similar to a rectangle. The entrance is on the eastern side and closed with a double-wing gate made of metal rods with Latin cross motifs. Its main element is a monument in the shape of a truncated pyramid set on a stepped plinth. The cemetery is fenced on the side of Szpitalna and Starodąbrowska Streets with concrete posts connected by pairs of metal pipes.

In the cemetery, there is a concrete slab, which constitutes an element of the original arrangement, with a Latin cross and the following inscription: “AUF DIESEM FELDE DER EHRE/ RUHEN 472 TAPFERE HELDENSÖHNE/ DER K.K. ÖST.UNG. ARMEE, DIE DEN/ HELDEN TOD IM KÄMPFE FÜR/ KAISER UND VATERLAND FANDEN/ 1914-1915.”

The cemetery degraded after the Second World War. In 1966, the then authorities decided to arrange a green area in its place. In 2010, work was undertaken to bring back the war cemetery nature to the place. Within the framework of renovation work, the original layout of the cemetery was restored. The main and transverse alleys were reconstructed, and tombstones in the form of cast-iron crosses mounted on concrete stelae were placed in rows in three sections.

681 soldiers of the Austro-Hungarian army, nine soldiers of the German army and 795 soldiers of the Russian army were buried in 165 mass and 28 individual graves. The names of 682 buried soldiers are known.
