The cemetery was built on a rectangular plan and is fenced with a massive stone wall with built-in stone posts. In the corners, inside the cemetery, there are stone and concrete pergolas. The westside entrance is framed by a stone gate with a concrete gable roof surmounted with a cross. It is closed with a double-wing wooden gate. On both sides of the gate, there are stone structures that imitate towers with a hipped roof covered with sheet metal. On the outside, the towers are embedded with bas-reliefs depicting resting eagles.
The main element of the cemetery is a concrete monument forming a Latin cross set on a high stepped plinth. The monument is located on a concrete terrace in the cemetery centre and surrounded by a concrete pergola.

On the plinth of the monument, there are three plaques with the following inscriptions in German:

– “AUF DEN/ WESTGALIZISCHEN SCHLACHTENFELDERN/ SIND IN DEN JAHREN DEN WELTKRIEGES/ 1916–1917/ VOM K.u.K. MILITÄRKOMANDO KRAKAU/ UNDER LEITUNG DES/ FML. BRANDNER EDL. v. WOLFSZAHN/ 378 KRIEGERFRIEDHÖFE/ – DAVON IM BEREICHE DER/ K. K. BEZIRKSHAUPTMANNSCHAFT/ BRZESKO 42 FRIEDHÖFE ERBAUT WORDEN.”
– “1914–1915/ GEMEINSAM WAR UNS/ ALLEN EIN GEDANKE/ UND EINE SEHNSHUCHT/ TRIEB UNS IN DEN TOD:/ DER SIEG DES RECHTES!”
– “1914–1915/ TRAUERT NICHT, DASS UNSER/ MUND VERSTUMMT IST, –/ UNSER GRÄBER SOLLEN ZU/ EUCH SPRECHEN VON DER/ LIEBE ZUM VATERLAND.”

In the middle of the stone wall enclosing the cemetery from the north, there is a stone monument wall ended with flowing arches flanked by small prism pinnacles. In a wall recess, there is a memorial plaque with the following inscriptions in German and Polish: “DIE IHR FÜR’S VATERLAND IM, STREIT GEFALLEN/ IN TREUER PFLICHT – OB FREUND OB FEIND –/ ES GRÜNT DER LORBEER IMMERDAR EUCH ALLEN./ AUF DIESEM FELD DES FRIEDENS RUHT VEREINT./ WY COŚCIE PADLI ZA OJCZYZNĘ W BOJU/ WRÓG CZY PRZYJACIEL – DOKONAWSZY CZYNU/ ŚPIJCIE ZŁĄCZENI W TEJ ZIEMI POKOJU/ ZARÓWNO ZDOBI WAS WIENIEC WAWRZYNU (YOU, WHO HAVE DIED STRUGGLING FOR YOUR HOMELAND, FRIENDS AND ENEMIES, SLEEP TOGETHER IN THIS LAND OF PEACE AND ARE ORNAMENTED BY A LAUREL WREATH).”

The cemetery is divided by alleys into four sections. Most of the individual graves and the small mass graves are marked with tombstones forming concrete stelae with a semi-circular ending, surmounted with cast-iron Maltese crosses. On a huge mass grave located in the north-western section, two large cast-iron openwork (one Latin and one two-barred) crosses are set on concrete plinths; between them, there is a concrete stele with cast-iron plaques. At the closing of the east-west axis, at the ends of the alley, under the fence walls, there are two groups of officers' graves with tombstones forming three low trapezoidal arcades with equal arm crosses in the openings, connected by a small wall (of the “Watzal” type).

In the south-eastern section, there is a mass grave of victims of September 1939, enclosed by a rectangular concrete surround with a concrete monument in the form of a cross mounted on a pedestal, with a plaque bearing the following inscription: “WIECZNA PAMIĘĆ I CHWAŁA/ POLEGŁYM W II WOJNIE/ ŚWIATOWEJ/ MIESZKAŃCY MIASTA BRZESKO (ETERNAL MEMORY AND GLORY TO THOSE WHO DIED IN THE SECOND WORLD WAR. POPULATION OF BRZESKO).” In the grave, there are the remains of the victims of the bombing of military and evacuation trains on September 4 and 5, 1939, exhumed from the Słotwiński and Jasieński forests.

In the grave of the victims of 1939, at least 99 people were buried.
